Genocides Project

During our lesson on the Holocaust, we also were learning about different genocides around the world. We were assigned to work with our group, and this is the slideshow we produced. My section that I had to work on was Cambodia. This slideshow is also on my classmate's blog pages Bryce and Jarod.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

What I have learned from the UN Sustainable Development Goals so far is you can help without even getting off your sofa, and it is easy to help. What I have been doing differently is trying to reduce the amount of paper I use and turning off the lights when I leave the room. I also reduce the amount of light I use, by trying to use natural light so I don't have the lights on. I see myself in the future doing what i'm doing now and maybe raising money to try to help. Also, I see myself planting new vegetation that could help. The things I have been doing helps because, for starters every little bit helps. Also, not using a lot of paper helps reduce the amount of trees that are cut down. Also, turning off the lights save electricity. The influence I could make on the world could help a lot. I could speak at public places like malls, the post office and the town hall. Also, I could spread the memo by posts and texts. I can’t wait to share the info I learned with my family and friends. I have learned a lot from the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
